•Meeting Location: Senate district office (100 N. Ochoa St., Suite A, El Paso, TX 79901).

•Areas of Interest: Water and the Rio Grande; preservation of Rio Bosque Wetlands; Transmountain Road scenic corridor; improve the unincorporated areas (colonias) by decreasing environmental contamination and illegal dumping, especially scrap tires; the alcaldes at the irrigation district.

•Special Projects for 2012: meeting the water needs for Rio Bosque Wetlands Park; developing strategies to address the negative consequences of the “rule of capture.”
