Senate Committee on Transportation to discuss TXDOT project selection, toll road penalties
Austin – The Senate Committee on Transportation will have a hearing Monday (Aug. 27, 2018) to review interim charges related to TXDOT funding allocation and toll road penalties. The interim charges to be discussed are as follows:

· TxDOT analysis on the effect of funding allocations made in the Unified Transportation Program (UTP) and project selection decisions on accomplishing goals described in the statewide transportation plan.
· Toll Road Penalties: Review penalty practices employed by toll authorities throughout the state and make recommendations to improve customer service and eliminate unjustified penalties.
